Slimmers donate all those lovely calories to homeless
The members of the six Weight Watchers' groups led by Zoe Lysandrou collected seven bags' worth of unwanted food during January.
She took the feast of chocolates, mince pies and other fattening snacks to the St Martin's day centre for homeless people in the town last Friday.
Helpers there were delighted with the handout.

Zoe, whose leadership has won awards, said: "The collection seemed a good way of getting rid of temptation. Why have the food in the house and be looking at it when it could be put to good use?"
This year's donation followed a trial last year which involved just her Pagham group.
Its success means she and her slimmers will be repeating the collection with those oh-so-naughty Easter eggs in April.
