A road in Hastings has been closed because of a possible sink hole.

Braybrooke Road has been shut between Priory Avenue and Braybrooke Terrace because of a large hole in the road.

SourceBMX tweeted a picture of the hole outside their shop this morning.

Police were alerted to the hole at around 11.50am.

A Sussex Police spokesman said: “We were made aware of reports of a hole in the road, measuring approximately 2’ wide and 3’ deep, in Braybrooke Road, Hastings, at 11.49am on Friday (December 4).

“The incident was left with the local highways authority.”
