Hastings Fishermen's Museum has a performance by shanty singers on Saturday May 21, to mark its 60th anniversary.

The tickets are £8 and include a Tush Hamilton fish roll and a drink, choosing between local beer, wine or squash.

Food is from 6pm, singing at 7pm.

The Hastings Fishermen’s Museum, at Rock-a-Nore, is one of the town’s most popular tourist attractions.

It is open every day, except Christmas Day, and over 140,000 people go through the doors every year. It is inside a church built on the Stade in 1852, which fell out of use after the Second World War.

Admission to the museum is free but the volunteer attraction relies on donations and says more donations from visitors are needed if it is to continue opening for the same hours.
