Busy afternoon at our 22nd meeting. Among the newbies this time were Kendal Eaton, Keith Day and Andy Knight. Colin Bell had with him a rare pass for the Samanthas soul club in London. Nigel Ford had photos he took at Hyde Park in 1971 of Humble Pie, Head Hands & Feet and Grand Funk Railroad. Peter Millington had a photo of The Confederates playing the Hastings Observer dance in 1965. Linda Day was talking about the Rollerball album produced by Terry Pack and Tony Bird. Factory were present and pleased to see the write up in the Observer for the reunion gig. Roger Carey had cuttings from Rumours Club, Reading Festival, Marquee Club, Expandis, Jukes, A Minute Passed, Jon Hiseman at Bonners and A21 promo leaflet. John Petri had photos of Chain Reaction, Same Size and Stallion. Talk was about 4A.M., Shaft, Prog Rock Chart, Bare Faced Blues Fest, Prinnys Club, Jim The Jolly Fish, Time Machine soul band, Trash Cannes Festival, Hyde Park gigs also some great photos of Five Bob Rocket, Jinks, The Sound Casters, Kavemen, The Alamo, The Flipsides and GT Strokers.
