Sedlescombe

Due to the thunderstorms and threat of more bad weather, the organisers decided to cancel the fair on the Green last Saturday.

This must have been an extremely difficult decision to make following all the preparations that had been embarked upon. Hopefully there will be another date scheduled but the Green does seem to be a popular place for events this year.

This Sunday July 27 at 6pm, go along and join in at St John the Baptist Parish church for their Hymns and Pimms event. Have you a favourite hymn? Then you are invited to take it along so that it can be sung by all. Have a glass or two of Pimms with delicious nibbles. For further details on this please contact Rosemary on 870533
