MORE than 100 dogs of all shapes, breeds and sizes barked their way to success at an annual dog show on Bank Holiday Monday.
Hastings, St Leonards and East Sussex Canine Society played host to the popular event at Alexandra Park which saw scores of owners bring their pets along.
There were plenty of classes for the dogs to enter, ranging from best rescue dog and most appealing eyes, to best pedigree in show and best puppy.
Most people who entered their dogs were from 1066 Country but some had travelled from as far as Broadstairs, Brighton and Horsham.
Dogs were given rosettes and those which came top in each category were presented with half a kilo of dog food, donated by Cobbydog.
Jean McGlashan, secretary of Hastings, St Leonards and East Sussex Canine Society, said: “The show went very well and we were lucky with the weather. It was lovely to see many local people come along.”
