Schoolchildren invited to enter MP Christmas card competition

SCHOOLCHILDREN are being invited to prove they are a class act by designing a Christmas card for Hastings MP Amber Rudd.

The MP has organised a competition which is open to any child under the age of 12 who lives or attends a school in the Hastings and Rye constituency.

The winning design will be chosen by an independent panel of judges and be sent to hundreds of people for Christmas.

As well as having their drawing turned into a Christmas card, there will be a prize for the winner and two runners-up.

Drawings should be submitted to Amber Rudd MP at the House of Commons, London, SW1A 0AA and the closing date for submissions is Friday, November 4.

Ensure that you include your full name, age, home address and the school that you attend, with your submission. All drawings should be on A5 paper, in colour and should not have stickers or attachments. They can be landscape or portrait.
