The cricket club are at home to St Mary’s Green Street on July 27 with a 2.30pm start. The match ball sponsor is Peter Buswell Estate Agents of Hawkhurst.

The primary school is trying to re-establish the school football team and is looking for a local coach who can support and train the squad. If you have the time, or know anyone who might consider volunteering, then please contact the school office on 01580 850288.

The civic amenity refuse lorry will be in the village on Saturday at Lomas Lane, from 8am - 8.25am; Ringle Green from 8.30am - 9am; Back Road from 9.05am - 9.35am; Tanyard from 9.40am - 10.20am and Sandhurst Close from 10.25am - 11am.

Modification of the kerb alignment between at the junction of Back Road and Bodiam Road will be funded by Kent County Council and will allow Number 5 buses to turn more easily.
