Refuse lorry: the civic amenity refuse lorry will be in Sandhurst on October 29 for compostable garden waste only. 8 - 8:25 AM at Lomas Lane, 8.30 to 9 AM at Ringles Green, 9.05 to 9:35 AM at Back Road, 9.40 - 10:20 AM at Tanyard, 10 - 10:35 AM at Sandhurst Close.

Royal trip: a huge thank you to Barbara Simmons for organising the trip to Buckingham Palace. 35 people attended and saw how the Queen lives. A good sum was raised for the Hospice in the Weald as a result of the trip.

Baptist Church: on October 30 morning worship at the Baptist Church is at 10:30 AM with an evening meeting at 7 PM. On November 3 coffee morning will take place at 10.45 in the church hall. On Tuesday, November 8 the purpose plate lunch at noon takes place in the church hall. Booking needed and there is a voluntary donation. For more information phone Terry Pickford on (01580) 762200.

Cathedral concert: the choristers of Canterbury Cathedral will perform a concert at St Nicholas Church on Saturday 4th February 2017. Full details to follow.
