More than 9,000 people attended this year’s Hastings Beer and Music Festival over the three day event.
They were entertained by a top line-up of local bands who really raised the roof of the giant marquee.
Saturday’s Family Fun Afternoon grows in popularity each year and provided a perfect opportunity for young local dancers and performers to show what they can do. Sunny weather added to the fun on Saturday.
Beer festival spokesman James Beeching said: “Members of Hastings Round Table were really up against it this year during the set up due to poor weather conditions.
“Eventually the Gods were kind to us and the weather actually held off, allowing festival goers to really enjoy the atmosphere from inside the big top or out.”
Festival Chairman Colin Gooch said: “I have been part of Hastings Round Table and the festival for almost 20 years and it still blows my mind how 15 guys are able to deliver such a fantastic event year on year.
“I am delighted that even when we were really up against it with the weather during set up, the guys pulled together, worked tirelessly and got the job done.
“The supporters as always didn’t disappoint and it really is them that make this event what it is.
“The atmosphere was electric and the bands were truly phenomenal, bringing more energy to the festival than I think I’ve ever seen.
“The support from local companies has been great and we also owe much of the success of this festival to them, as without them the event really couldn’t happen.
“The people of Hastings are truly fantastic and myself and the guys at Hastings Round Table would like to thank them sincerely for the continued support. We will always continue to try and improve the event for its supporters and look forward to next year.
Initial figures indicate that approximately £50,000 was raised this year, this will make a huge difference to so many local charities and good causes, and this is why we do it!”
