THE SPECIAL guest act at this year’s Fat Tuesday has been announced as world famous rock band Skunk Anansie.

The band, which has had hits with songs including Hedonism and Brazen (weep), will be joining in festivities tomorrow evening (Tuesday) in the Old Town, playing gigs in Dragon Bar, The Nelson, and The Carlisle.

All four band members will be coming to town, including lead singer Skin, to join the music and mayhem of Hastings’ answer to Mardi Gras.

Skunk Anansie’s special Hastings gigs come ahead of the band’s UK tour, which starts in March.

The culmination of Hastings Fat Tuesday, tomorrow evening will see 16 bands play across eight venues between 8pm and 11pm.
