Tomorrow evening, Saturday 23rd February there is to be a Quiz at Robertsbridge Club and it is being run by Robertsbridge Utd. F.C Registration is at 7.30pm with an *pm start. It will cost £2 per player and there will be maximum 5 to a team.

There will be prizes to be won and a raffle.

Sunday 24th February is Sunday Roast at Robertsbridge Club between 1pm – 3pm. Booking is advised on 01580 880673.

The Treasure Chest has also returned to the club and is drawn on a Sunday afternoon. Tickets cost £1 and are available throughout the week in the Club, this Sunday there is a rollover.

Did you know there is a Community Bus Service available in Robertsbridge. There will now be monthly services to Eastbourne next one being 21st March, and bi monthly to Maidstone starting 12th March, Hailsham 22nd March, Tunbridge Wells 8th April and Ashford or Tenterden on 26th April. A reminder that there is a table sale on tomorrow Saturday 23rd at Robertsbridge Hall opening at 10am.

The Bonfire Dinner Dance forms are still available from Sandie at the Floral Boutique, hurry those because time is whizzing by and it will soon be the deadline. Dance is on Saturday April 6th at Powdermills Hotel. A great night out and you do not have to be a member.

Last weekend and this week have seen some reasonable weather which encourages people to go out walking. This is great and a good free way of keeping fit. But please do remember when out in the fields please stick to the footpaths and not across the middle of the farmers fields. Also if you have a dog please keep it on a lead as it is now getting close to lambing season and many ewes are in lamb, some may have already lambed early. If you open a gate make sure it is closed behind you as there have been a few incidents of sheep getting out and this can cause a hazard on the roads and to the animals. If these few rules are remembered everyone stays happy.

Ladies darts: With no game last week we return on Monday[25th] when we are at home to Ticehurst Club at 8p.m. in the Knockout Cup Semi-Final 1st leg.

Darts: We played at Mountfield Club in the Pushpenny Team Knockout semi-final against The Millers Arms and lost 2-0.

Stoolball: Hopefully the summer is on its way and it is time to think about summer sport and the Annual General Meeting of Robertsbridge Stoolball Club will be held at Robertsbridge Club on Monday 4th March 2013 commencing at 7.30p.m. for all present members and to anyone who would like to join the club. We have a full fixture list for Ladies and Mixed teams which play on a Tuesday and Thursday evenings also there are Sunday Tournaments for both teams.
