Rescue Boat operates in all conditions

Pett Level Rescue Boat now has a new larger boat house thanks to a massive local fund-raising effort.
The boat, which is entirely financed and operated by volunteers, plays a vital role in coastal safety, often backing up the larger lifeboats at Hastings and Rye.
Chairman Steve Hill said: “Thanks to new equipment we have introduced in recent years, it now means the boat can be launched in almost any conditions.”
