PUDSEY Bear visited Priory Meadow last Wednesday (September 25) as part of a UK tour in aid of Children in Need.
Holiday company Haven pledged to take Pudsey on a tour of the UK covering more than 2,000 miles in 26 days, stopping at each of its 36 holiday parks around the coast, including Combe Haven. The firm has pledged to raise £200,000 for Children in Need in 2013.
Pudsey travelled on an 80-year-old vintage bus donated by Rambler Coaches, through Hastings and St Leonards and arrived at Priory Meadow where he was welcomed by shoppers and Mayor Alan Roberts.
This was the final leg of Pudsey’s tour of all the 36 parks owned by Haven. More than £175,000 has so far been raised by Haven for Children in Need. Picture by D&K Photography.
