Public's views wanted on Pride of Place

THE six Local Strategic Partnerships in the county are asking for the public's views on the draft Pride of Place document.

Pride of Place is an Integrated Sustainable Community Strategy for East Sussex.

It has been developed by the six Local Strategic Partnerships in East Sussex - Eastbourne, Hastings, Lewes, Rother, Wealden and East Sussex - in partnership with their local authorities.

Pride of Place sets out a shared vision for East Sussex in 2026. The strategy contains county-wide strategic objectives and priorities, as well as a chapter specifically for Rother, to help achieve the vision and improve the quality of life for people in all parts of the county.

Information about the strategy and consultation together with an online form for comment is available from the East Sussex Strategic Partnership website at www.essp.org.uk.

Rother leader Cllr Carl Maynard, chairman of the Rother LSP, said: "This is an important document and opportunity for everyone in Rother to have they say on what the District should be like in the future."
