£1m bond winner
AN EAST Sussex person has had particular reason to celebrate the New Year, having won the £1 million Premium Bond jackpot for January.
The winner, who has not been named, holds 20,000 bonds.
The win makes this person the second East Sussex Premium Bonds millionaire since the 1 million monthly jackpot was introduced in 1994.
The first first jackpot winner scooped the top prize in 2002.
