Approval for 200 solar panels on roof of Chichester hospice

Plans to install more than 200 solar panels on the roof of a hospice in Bosham have been approved by Chichester District Council.

The application for St Wilfrids Hospice, in Walton Lane, was given the nod by planning officers.

The 207 panels should lead to a saving of 35 per cent on the charity’s energy bills.
