Party spokesperson Julia Hilton said: “I am delighted that Caroline Lucas is coming to launch our local election campaign in Hastings, and proud that we will be standing candidates in every seat.
“Hastings Borough Council has been a two-party council for too long, and we urgently need more diversity of political views in order to hold the council to account.

“We came very close to winning a seat on the council in 2018, and invite all those who want to see us win this time to come along and find out how they can help.”

The event is open to everyone and is free (donation requested for food), but attendees are asked to book in advance at tinyurl.com/CarolineHastings.
