Police name Henfield motorcycle crash victim
Emergency services were called to the B2116 Wheatsheaf Road just outside of Henfield, but Richard Baker, 49, of Blackstone Lane, was declared dead at the scene.
Floral tributes and emotional messages have been left at the roadside by loved ones.
One message read: “This pain is immense.
“Thank you for being part of my life.”

Hide AdThe Suzuki motorbike is believed to be the only vehicle involved in the incident at around 7pm on Friday May 10.
It appears the collision occurred when the rider lost control on a left-hand bend, said Sussex Police in a statement this week.
Officers are appealing to members of the public who may have witnessed the incident to get in touch.
A spokesperson for the force said: “The collision was reported by a passing motorist some time after it happened.

Hide Ad“Any witnesses who saw the collision or the bike on the road earlier that evening is asked to call Sussex Police on 101 quoting Operation Easdale.”
