Police help boost security at sports centre
Rye Police has donated £500 to Rye Sports Centre to assist with the funding for an upgraded CCTV system at the centre.
The donation comes from the Police Property Act Fund (PPAF), made up of monies received by the police from property confiscated by order of the court and then sold.
PC Paul Fielder said: “I am really pleased that we are able to assist the centre, it is well used and enjoyed by many.
“This contribution demonstrates our commitment to support local organisations and in this instance, assist them in their desire to improve their site security.”
