Police helicopter launched in search for missing 10-year-old boy

The police helicopter was launched to help in the search for a missing 10-year-old boy this afternoon (Thursday, June 8).

Shortly after 3pm, police officers, supported by a National Police Air Service helicopter, began searching for the boy who had been reported missing from Robsack Wood Community Primary School, Whatlington Way, St Leonards.

Within the hour, the boy was found safe and well nearby, and the helicopter was stood down.
