Police donation to Crowhurst Playgroup

Police have donated £300 to a village playgroup.

The donation for Crowhurst Playgroup will be used for temporary fencing, storage heater covers and safety equipment.

Crystal Terry, for the playgroup, said: “We are very grateful for the donation, it will really help the children and especially around ensuring their safety.”

The donation comes from the Police Property Act Fund (PPAF), made up of monies received by the police from property confiscated by order of the court and then sold.

PCSO Daryl Holter, who presented the cheque, said: “We are extremely happy to support Crowhurst Playgroup, who do such good work with local children.”
