Police appeal for witnesses after cyclist is hurt in crash

Sussex Police have issued an appeal for witnesses following an accident which left a cyclist hurt.

A car collided with the bike on the A259 at Glynde Gap.

The accident happened just before 5.30pm on Wednesday April 8, although police have only just put out the appeal.

The cyclist, a 50-year-old man from Bexhill, broke his wrist. The car driver, a 30-year-old woman from St Leonards, was unhurt.
