Police appeal after assault on Brighton train
Officers said the victim was in the toilet when he heard a loud bang, and when he opened the door, he was confronted by two men.
One of the men then went on to assault him, punching him in the head, police said.

Hide AdOnce off the train on the platform the man went to assault the victim further, but the victim managed to run off.
Investigating officer PC Michael Gosling said: “I am keen to speak to anyone who was on the service at the time and may have witnessed the incident.
“Everyone has the right to travel on the rail network without fear or intimidation. This was an unprovoked attack which left the victim shaken by the assault.
“He was left with swelling to the side of his face and a cut lip.”

Hide AdThe man is described as white, 6ft, medium build, aged in his early twenties, with short dark brown hair. He was wearing blue jeans and a dark blue hooded top.
The incident happened on Friday, April 7, at 11.30pm.
