The Mayor of Hastings along with his Deputy have agreed to judge the entrants and to present the prizes. All monies raised will go to Winkle Club local good causes.

Richard Stevens, from the Winkle Club, said: “Sunday July 26 is Pirate Day in Hastings although no record-breaking attempts will be made this year, it is still expected that there will be plenty of ‘swash-bucklers’ around town and the Old Town on the day with a variety of events taking place.”
