Even though it was very wet, thousands of spectators lined the streets last night (Saturday, October 15) to watch the annual torch-lit procession and bonfire celebrations.
The lighting of the beacon on the East Hill took place at 7pm before the procession got under way, starting by the White Rock Theatre, winding its way through the town centre, along the seafront before heading towards the Old Town and back to the beach.
