Piano music and dance combined

An evening devoted to Debussy promises to be a feast for the senses, as music and dance is combined.

The event tomorrow (Saturday) takes place at St John the Evangelist, in Brittany Road, St Leonards.

Two international pianists, Julian Jacobson and Mariko Brown join local director and mezzo soprano Jenny Miller, and dancer Chiara Vinci.

The programme will include famous piano items such as Danseuses de Delphe and more unusual pieces such as the fragment of a never-completed ballet, K’hamma.

The title of the programme is Dances, Oracles, Mystery.

Jenny Miller has a passion for finding new ways for audiences to experience and appreciate classical repertoire, so this evening will be a feast for the senses.

All of the pieces will be choreographed and given a visual twist.

The event starts at 7.30pm, and tickets are £12.50 or £10 concessions.
