On Saturday March 11, the family and friends of Rogate CE Primary School got together to restore the allotment area, which had fallen into a state of disrepair since the Covid pandemic.

It was a wonderful day of hard work, collaboration and fun, which resulted in a completely revitalised area.

The schoool will now be able to use our grant from the Southdowns National Park to plant up a bee-friendly wildflower bed.

Each class will also take responsibility for a vegetable bed, growing a selection of vegetables which will also benefit the bees, making sure that wildlife loves Rogate School.
