Stephanie Woolven, owner of lingerie company ‘StephieAnn Design’, hopes to be one of four entrepeuners, out of a shortlist of ten, to be awarded £1,000 in the Shell LiveWire Grand Ideas Award.

The 22-year-old said: “It’s not a lot of money but it’s something and that would really keep me going. It would be such a confidence booster as I’m local talent, I grew up in West Chiltington and it would just give a little bit of creditibilty to my business.”

After external judges scored her business plan, Stephanie filmed a video pitch for her business, which she set up in June last year, which is available to be viewed and voted for by the public until Friday, February 28.

“With the money I would invest in pattern cutting so a professional would come in and cut shapes for me and I would go to trade fairs this summer and try to sell wholesale and overseas. Obviously my dream is to get into Liberty and Selfridges but a few year’s down the line maybe,” added Stephanie.
