High tides battered Bognor Regis seafront this afternoon (March 23), with pedestrians running for cover as salt spray and shingle erupted onto parts of the promenade.

Thankfully, our reporter was there to capture the drama. Their video shows waves rising up over the side of the handrails and piles of pebbles wrenched up from the beach by the violent tides.
