Support for bereaved children and young people

Childhood bereavement charity Winston’s Wish is launching SWITCH - a new programme to support anyone aged eight to 14 who has lost a parent, grandparent, carer or sibling.

The charity is urging professionals who support children or young people to attend an information evening at West Point, Springfield Road, Horsham, from 5.30pm on Tuesday November 5.

Susan Tait, West Sussex regional operations manager for the charity, said: “The SWITCH programme is an important project and our aim at Winston’s Wish is to reach vulnerable children, young people and their families across the county who will benefit from this intervention.
