Part of Hastings town centre flooded

A section of the town centre has been cordoned off due to flooding this afternoon (Thursday, October 29).

Several shops in Priory Meadow have been affected and closed to customers, with sand bags being placed on the ground to stop excess water floodiong the premises.

The flooding is affecting the area opposite Queens Road and by the town hall.
