Horsham teacher provides lockdown food deliveries for Air Force veterans

A Horsham teacher - who is also a civilian instructor for the Air Cadets - has been providing lockdown food deliveries for Royal Air Force veterans.

Jo Chapman, who teaches economics at Collyers’s Sixth Form College, makes the deliveris to RAF veterans who live in Royal Force Association retirement accommodation.

She said: “I really enjoy my role as a civilian instructor with our local Air Cadets Squadron and during the Covid-19 lockdown we are running virtual parade nights for the cadets and providing food deliveries for RAF veterans who live in RAFA sheltered accommodation.”

Collyer’s deputy principal Steve Martell said: “All within the Collyer’s community are incredibly proud of Jo’s outstanding work supporting RAF veterans during these difficult times.”
