Hastings Old Town Easter Procession of Witness will be online

The Good Friday Stations of the Cross event which normally sees a procession through the streets of Hastings Old Town, will be in a virtual format this year.

Thursday, 1st April 2021, 2:30 pm

The Procession of Witness, usually involves members of the Old Town Parish re-enacting the last hours of Jesus, leading up to the crucifixion.

Organiser Heather Leech explained: “Members of both parishes in the Old Town the C of E’s and the Catholics have been recording their lines socially distanced, remotely on Zoom or phones so that they will be spliced together.

“Over 30 people will be involved though normally hundreds would be watching.
