The celebration was hosted by Sam’s uncle Trevor Standen. Sam, who was joined by his wife Trish, said: “We had a really nice time. I dressed up as an elf and people wore Christmas jumpers. We had a roast turkey dinner, followed by trifle. We also opened presents.”

Sam is well known in Hastings for his fund-raising. Last year during the clap for the NHS in lockdown, Sam dressed up as Elvis Presley and serenaded people from his St Leonards door step. He donate money he raised to NHS staff at the Conquest Hospital.
