Olave International Camp sees more than 600 girls attend the week-long camp in the East Sussex countryside and this year celebrates its 30th year.
County commissioner Linda Dupret said: “Girlguiding Sussex East County are delighted that the mayor of Brighton will be accompanying the girls and leaders on their flight on BA i360. It is great that our members will have the chance to meet and talk with such an inspiring woman.”
The first Olave camp was held in 1989 and was named in honour of the first County Commissioner of East Sussex, Olave Baden Powell on what would have been her 100th birthday.
They have also been given the opportunity to take part in a treasure hunt, enjoy a journey on the historic Volks Electric Railway and a carousel fairground ride.
