Eastbourne Lifeboats receive donation from Golf Society
The Out Of Bounders Golf Society nominated Eastbourne Lifeboats as their chosen charity for 2019 and presented a cheque for £1,380 to the volunteer crew.
Recent pass captain of the society, Neil Wathen, and fixtures secretary, David Bell, visited the lifeboat station at Sovereign Harbour recently to meet the crew and make the presentation to operations manager Carl Pocock.
The donation will go towards operating costs to ensure the boats and volunteer crew can continue their lifesaving work.
