The two-year-old is part collie and has an enthusiastic character, always on the lookout for the next way to have fun.

Bud has lots of energy and enjoys a variety of activities. In particular, he likes engaging in a game with his toys and loves the staff at the rehoming centre to play along, too.

Other favoured pastimes include exploring on quiet walks, settling with a long-lasting chew and taking part in training.

Staff caring for Bud say he thrives when keeping his mind stimulated. He is very smart and already knows some basic commands, is fully house trained, responds well to a clicker and is making great progress with his behaviour management.

However, Bud is always keen to learn more, so owners who are just as enthusiastic as he is, willing to work on some positive, reward-based training, would be ideal.

Bud will need to live in an adult-only home without any visiting children. Due to his sensitivities around loud noises, he is best suited to family who lead a quieter lifestyle and live in a rural area. Bud will need to be the only pet at home and it is essential that he has a garden.

He will need to be walked away from any busy roads and his new home should have easy access to quieter walking areas, where he can avoid bumping into other dogs.
