Camber Sands beachgoers turned away as car parks are full
The car parks at Camber Sands are now full for the second day running.
Ahead of a weekend of soaring temperatures, Rother District Council has advised visitors to avoid travelling to the popular destination.
The car parks at Camber Sands have been closed due to hitting capacity a number of times already this summer.
On Thursday, the council said emergency services and officials were bracing for a busy weekend which could see temperatures reaching 30 degrees.
On Thursday and before 11am on Friday, however, the car parks were full.
The council said there is no further parking available in the area and asked visitors not to travel to the beach.
