A 76-YEAR-OLD woman suffering from Alzheimer’s disappeared from her home in the middle of the night.

Shirley Coalbran was last seen when she went to bed at around 11pm at her home in Coghurst Road yesterday.

But she was reported to have left the house by 1am.

Sergeant Jane Batcheler, of Hastings Police, said: “Shirley has mild Alzheimer’s and is known to like looking at the sea and taking walks along the seafront.

“We have had some very high winds in Hastings overnight so we are concerned for her welfare. She is believed to be wearing a black Parka style coat with fur around the hood and black boots.

“If anyone has seen her please get in touch as both us and her family are extremely worried. Please call us on 101 quoting serial 56 of 7/1.”
