PEASMARSH SCHOOL FETE: I went along to the Summer Fete at Peasmarsh School last Saturday, lots to see and do with several displays, refreshments, face painting, plant stall, bouncy castle, cakes, balloons, all in all a fun afternoon out for all the family! The weather was perfect and I understand that they raised over £1,000 for the school so well done to the organisers!

2016 CALENDAR: Peasmarsh Memorial Hall’s Management Committee is planning to produce a calendar for next year to raise funds for the upkeep of the hall and has been running a competition to find 12 photographs for it. There are more details and an entry form on the hall’s website - http://peasmarshmh.btck.co.uk/

THE PLAYSPACE PROJECT: The current Playspace at the Recreation Ground is desperately in need of repair and renovation, partly due to wear and tear and partly to vandalism. As you will have seen in this month’s Peasmarsh Periodical, people are still needed to join the Recreation Ground Committee to help work on this project, particularly those with young children or with interests in children’s sports activities. If you can give some of your time to help with this please contact Jennifer Als, Ray Hollman, Julie Masters or Steve Buss - or go along to the next meeting at the Pavilion at 6pm on Wednesday August 5.

CHURCH SERVICES: This Sunday there will be a service of Holy Eucharist at Peasmarsh church at 10am.
