Parking ban at North Bersted
A parking ban is to be brought in at a North Bersted layby plagued by kerbside car sales.
Councillors agreed to press ahead with the legal measure for the site along the northern side of Chalcraft Lane.
It is expected to take effect from mid-May and will stop parking between 9am and 5pm daily. One objection to the proposal had been received by the county council.
But the county members of the Joint Western Arun area committee unanimously decided it should not stop the traffic regulation order being imposed.
