A SAFE containing cash was among the items stolen from a charity shop during a break-in.
The burglary took place at the Shelter charity shop in London Road, St Leonards, overnight between Friday, April 12 and Saturday, April 13.
Along with the safe, other smaller items including another small amount of cash, were stolen.
Police believe it is likely that there was more than one person involved as the safe was too heavy for one person to carry.
PC Andy Lawrence said; “Any witness or anyone with information is asked to call 101 quoting serial 0378 of 13/4. Alternatively, call the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
