Well done for pier efforts

Having been abroad for six years and having just returned to Hastings for a visit, I feel I need to congratulate the folks who fought for, and won, the rebuilding of the pier.

It is spectacular, brilliantly rebuilt, modern and eye-catching, and it can only get better.

Well done to all those involved.

It cannot have been easy and I admire in spades your dedication, hard work and community spirit.
