This isn't joined up thinking

CAN anyone please explain to me why Offington Lane has had a yellow sign informing me since January 1 that the road is uneven and I assume waiting to be resurfaced?

Four months is a long time waiting for it to be fixed, as it is a main road out of Worthing.

I came home from work to find more yellow boards at the top and bottom of my road telling me there was a problem, with a date for when it is going to be repaired.

Although I am pleased this is going to be fixed, why is Offington Lane less of a priority, being a main road?

Now our road is a quiet little road, unlike Offington Lane, which sees many vehicles up and down it all day long.

I would divert and go round but as anyone would know, coming into Worthing from Findon from about 4.30pm onwards is somewhat of a nightmare because of the traffic lights on the Grove Lodge roundabout.

Now things are going to be slightly worse because they have just installed a pedestrian set of lights at the bottom of Warren Road.

Where do the people who decide to do this keep their brains?
