Save the Walk-In Centre Campaign in Hastings is being driven by the public, not the MP

I see that Amber Rudd MP’s latest newsletter claims she has been campaigning to save the Station Plaza Walk-in Centre. In fact, the Save the Walk-in Centre Hastings campaign has been driven by the community and has collected nearly 5,000 signatures compared to Amber Rudd’s petition with only 226 signatures.

The Clinical Commissioning Group and Hastings Borough Council have had to look into cutting back essential services because of the government’s austerity measures.

I think it is hypocritical of our MP to pretend to campaign against her own Party’s policies.

For anyone who genuinely wants to campaign to save the Walk-in Centre, there will be a gathering at Station Plaza on Saturday, December at 1pm.
