Will they ever get to our library?

Some years ago we were told that six million pounds were available for a brand new public library in Hastings.

Nothing happened.

A few years later we were told that there would be no new building but that the existing library would be completely refurbished.

We are still waiting.

Meanwhile, Lewes has got a completely new library, Rye library has been comfortably re-housed and Bexhill library has been up-graded.

Hastings library is now in a sorry state of neglect and is in need of complete refurbishment.

When will the county council ever get around to it?
