What a show to go out on

WELL done and congratulations to Eileen Chandler and her family on their 42 years of entertaining.

The variety shows have given countless young talented performers the opportunity to showcase their skills.

My daughter was fortunate to take part over a number of years and the company works extremely hard to put the shows together, rehearsing for months on a weekly basis, with new routines put together for each year's show.

The money raised goes to various local charities.

This year's show was brilliant, as usual, and being the last show was also quite emotional.

A further well done to all whom have put so much into the company backstage and with the wardrobe, and indeed to the Chandler family, particularly Charlotte and Leigh, who choreograph many of the routines.

So here's to Eileen, who broke her arm a couple of years ago and still insisted that the show must go on.

I do hope you enjoy a bit of time to yourself, you do deserve it.
