Scooter ignored red traffic light

I applaud Christine Nicholls’s letter (Hastings St Leonards & Rye Observer, May 28).

I was stationary at a red traffic light when my car was passed by an e-scooter rider who rode through the red light and through the next set of lights which were also at red.
