Pre-school enjoy a forest session
Children from Cootham Pre-School enjoyed a forest school session in the woodland at Dorset House School in Bury in the Autumn term.
During the visit Tracey Brooks, who has owned and managed the Cootham Pre-School for 15 years, mentioned that she is over subscribed and looking for a second setting - and so the idea of a partnership was born.
Six months on and Tracey has a bright newly fitted room which will provide places for up to 12 children per session. Although this will be a smaller setting than that at Cootham, children will be cared for by staff trained at Cootham and have access to the extensive grounds at Dorset House including a new outdoor play area, Walled Garden and woods.
